this ftp is running on sbs2003
still trying to see if the option to use a ms iis ftp site in windows
explorer can work to send folders
if its 1 folder and a few files that seems to work, but mutiple layers of
folder and a lot files don't
typically it will upload something like 3 of 6 folder... more >>

Hello,
if I want install the FTP Server on Win 2003 Standart Edition SP2 the
Installation routine ask for the file IIS_Clusftp.Vb_ on the Server CD. But
Ican't find them ????

i have been trying to use the windows explorer option to copy folders from
an ftp site to a local directory.
after starting paste or 'copy to folder' option, the message about
calculating time to copy comes up but never is able to actually execute or
finish. always gets a timed out.

i created a new ftp site, different from the iis default site
i created a folder with the system default attributes, ie, file|new|folder,
but it is not
under inetpub.
to allow copying files to the site i created a 'special' user and gave them

is there a command in ftp to delete the local abc*.txt files
i only found how to delete the files on the remote system
and something like mput /delete does not work

Hi Folks,
I often use Internet Explorer to access our FTP Servers as it "easily"
allows copy/paste of files, as well easy creation of directories on
the ftp server. Not to mention it IS already installed on every one of
our XP Workstations.

Hi:
I connect OK locally (over intranet) to ftp server workstation, but
can't connect externally. That is, running out to the internet and
back in to external ip address 69.12.xxx.xxx.
There are no messages in event viewer.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi All
We have a strange behaviour. Based on the file name we get an access denied
from the ftp console.
First try:
ftp> get R_c087_20071213_0706521.xml
200 PORT command successful.
550 R_c087_20071213_0706521.xml: Access is denied.
