iis ftp:
this ftp is running on sbs2003
still trying to see if the option to use a ms iis ftp site in windows
explorer can work to send folders
if its 1 folder and a few files that seems to work, but mutiple layers of
folder and a lot files don't

typically it will upload something like 3 of 6 folders and 10 files of 20 in
the 3rd folder, so its working on
it, then an error message 'an error occurred copying....make sure you have
permission....
details: a connection with the server could not be established'
there are no errors at all in the ftp log, and in the system log, there are
warnings that
'the ftp user timed out after 1800 seconds of activity', well thats 30
minutes and the attempted
upload had been running for about 1 minute and copied 3 folders and about 20
files, so there
was no real timeout
i have excellent connections between the 2 machines in question, i use
remote desktop all the time
with those machines and the connection is very fast and stays up for hours
no problem

experimented with passive/non passive and increased connection timeout to 30
minutes, etc
but nothing seems to work, so am i just wasting my time???
has anybody ever got this to work on their site?
