I am having a quirky behavior that I can't figure out. Here are the
symptoms:

1) from a command line I can ftp to a machine running IIS 6.0 and get
and put a file with no issues

2) When I open the ftp site through windows explorer, and log in, I
can see the directory, put files onto it, open a file, change
directory etc. If I try to copy the file from that ftp window onto my
desktop (or any local directory), it does nothing. The ftp log file
shows:
16:22:39 1XX.XX.XXX.XX username [70]sent /username/untitled.bmp 426 64

It's behaving as though it sent the file but it never arrives. It

Look like passive mode not possible via IE.
Try change it to active mode...
