iis ftp: when i type 'list' command, it shows an error message, "150 Opening ASCII
mode data connection for /bin/ls."
i cannot view the contents. what could be the problem???

A status code of 150 is not an error. Here is a link with FTP Status and

This may be more of a networking issue. If you are using command line FTP,
it works in active mode, which may be causing you issues. I would recommend
trying this again with a third party FTP client such as Filezilla,
http://filezilla-project.org/, where you can turn on passive mode and
connect to the FTP server that way.

make sure you got physical content in the dir folder.....
by design virtual directory is hidden from listing.
