Issues with coldfusion pages and anonymous access Dennis

iis security:
Well I am fairly certain this is something I am somehow foolishly missing in IIS configuration, I have a subfolder below my default site that has a complete coldfusion app I would like to run, but I would like it to be open to read by anonymous iusr. Now for some strange reason, the folder serves HTML pages just fine from the folder but the second I either type in or click a link for a .cfm page I get the login window. Anonymous access is enabled on the folder, as well as basic windows auth, the same as the rest of the server, and the iusr account is listed in the permissoins section with the correct permissions set IE, read, directory list, read and execute. Also the same as the rest of the server. I have scoured both this site and macromedias in regards to this and can find nothing but as far as I can tell its a IIS security issue of some type. I would appreciate any help on this matter. Also just as an aside my other media subfolders serving avi files and so forth load fine with permissions and basic auth set as is without requesting login, only thing that requires login is the cfm pages.

Dennis,
Download and run the Filemon and Regmon tools from
http://www.sysinternals.com while reproducing the problem. It is likely
that the anonymous user does not have access to some files/registry keys
specific to the cold fusion application. Once you save the logs, search for
Access Denieds in both the logs.
