Hi

I get this message when I set my virtual directory to
access the computer as I_USR even though I have given
I_USR execute and read permissions on the folder with my
ASP scripts.

If I set my virtual directory to access the computer as
another user who is a member of administrators and give
that user execute and read permissions on the folder I
don't get the message.

But I would rather fix it for case one.

Any help gtarefully appreciated.

With regards

Is this folder that you talk about on another machine to the webserver? (you
hint that it is)

Cheers

Hi Ken

No same machine. When I choose a user for anonymous users
to be identified as I choose 'Let IIS control password' &
I get a message 'password synchronisation is not supported
for local user accounts'. I don't understand this - or the
reference to a non-local user account.

Does this help?

Is this IIS6?

Cheers
