iis security : how to transfer from LAN to DMZ

I currently have a DMZ with a Windows 2000 Web server
running IIS 5.0. I have a web site on this web server
that dynamically updates its webpages when data is
transferred to the directory where it stored its web
pages. I want to know how I can transfer data from the
LAN to the Web server in the DMZ without having to use
FTP because it would be very convenient if I can just
transfer data to the exact destination folder rather than
ftp the data to the ftp directory and then moving the

You can FTP anywhere you want to if you set up the appropriate root ftp
folder and/or virtual shares. Note however that FTP is not the most
security-aware app [passwords are not well encrypted as they traverse the
network, and i bet you're using your admininstrator password as well to do
this]. SSH / SCP / PuTTY is a somewhat more secure option. see
