iis security: Not sure if this is the correct helpdesk but can anyone
tell me how to stop pop up messages. (the "messenger
service" messages)?

strart>>programs>>administrative tools>>services

open the "messenger" service, click stop and set the startup type to manual

you should get a firewall too..
