I have the exact same question that Lawrence has. How
can I get rid of these pop-up messenger windows when I'm
not doing anything on the internet or using my e-mail?
Is there a fix other than paying them to stop by buying

unless you really need it....disable to messenger service

that will prevent anything popping up via the messenger service...

Hope that helps...

That's not a solution. It'll only hide the problem. Messenger pop-ups mean
your system is open, and you NEED a firewall. Consider the messenger
pop-ups a forewarning to possibly bad activity
