iis security : restricting intranet access

I'm running IIS5 on Win2000 server, and I'm attempting to
internally restrict access to a particular intranet site
using internal domain names.

I've set the IP Address Restrictions to "Deny Access" and
populated the list with domain names that I want to access
the site, but all my users (including myself) are locked
out of the site.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Dan

Hi Bobby,

By adding the domain you are a memeber of you have
effectively locked yourself out. You may want to consider
restricting access by using the allow access option
however you may have to use the single computer feature.
You may have better success by editting the access
perminssions for this site based on NTFS perms if these
are all internal users....follow the AGGLP model and
create a global group of users that has access to the
content. Add the group to a local group on the web server.
Apply correct permissions to that local group so that they
may access the resources.

Kind regards,
