Mark,
Looks like they are not allowed based on NTFS permissions.
If you have set Basic and Integrated authentication the
basic is the login box you are getting. When that fails
integrated kicks in. This means that the credentials of
the currently logged in user are supplied.
When that fails you receive the 401.1
Do these users have the correct rights and privledges to
logon to the system?

They seem to be set up with the same rights as the other users. However,
If i do remove basic authentication it still forces people to input
password. I can never get in without typing the password, that would
however be an optimal situation.
Thanks

I made the changes specified in the KB article, still to no success.
One of the users is particularly absent minded and continues to type in
the wrong password. After typing in the wrong one, it pops up the
username and password box again, but when she types in the correct one
is when it gives the 401.1 Error. I didtn know if that might help at
all.
Thanks
Mark
