Clearfind.com has set itself as my homepage and I cannot
remove it. In internet options my set homepage option is
greyed out. How do I get rid of it?

this is iis security group. The pb you have is not of this kind.
Anyway:

Check ActiveX components or apps installed on you system.
Check if you still can write on the key : HKCU/Sofware/microsoft.internet
explorer/main
if you want to lock it down you can set the main page in the registry (above
link, start page key) and remove all write access to it (just start page off
course).
This is a bit rude but ...

If you wanna be smarter you can set an access audit on this key, change it,
and wait fot the program to change it. It will be logged in the security
events.
