probllems accessing internet after loading Service Pack2

iis security: Have been using Nortons for some time but since I loaded
SP2 last night, I can still connect to my ISP but cannot
get anything when I connect to internet explorer. Have
tried using the exceptions but still no joy. This is
really being more of a pain than it is worth. Several
other friends have had the same problems and as we are
not that knowledgable about computers, we are stuck.

Any ideas (we can understand)

In a nutshell, SP2 for Windows XP installs and enables a new firewall on
your pc. So if you're already using Norton firewall, turn off the one in
XP.

But this forum is for IIS (web server) issues. You need to post your
question in the appropriate microsoft.public.windowsxp.* group.
