I have been using an application under 2000 server with IIS using application
protection set to low. now when running this app on 2003 server with IIS
running it will not run properly and I cannot seem to find the application
protection setting in IIS 6. Has it been removed?? email me at

IIS 6 has a different model.

Hello,
If you are running IIS in the new mode (Worker process isolation mode) you
will not see the Application protection settings. The w3wp.exe is the
process that process requests. If you are having app compatibility issues
you can always switch back to the IIS5 Compatibility or Old mode.
