How can I get a list of directories (not web directories) through ADSI in a
web virtual directory so that I can set SSL permissions on them?
For example:
The virual directory 'MyVirDir' is mapped to C:\MyApp in default web site.

This one has us stumped. On our production Windows Server 2003
Enterprise Edition running IIS 6.0 and .NET Framework 1.1. We are

We have an ASP page on an IIS 5.0 web server.
This ASP page connects to a MS SQL 2000 database using integrated security.
Anonymous access is enabled with the username mymachine\IUSER_mymachine.
But when I call the ASP page in a browser, it returns the following error:

I have been using an application under 2000 server with IIS using application
protection set to low. now when running this app on 2003 server with IIS
running it will not run properly and I cannot seem to find the application

I'm having a little trouble with an application of my that access a
specific web folder on my Windows 2003 Standard machine running IIS
6.0.
Allowing Anonymous Access to the web folder in no longer an options,

I have tried searching for this but was unable to find anything. I was just
wondering if you set the IE User Authentication Logon to Prompt for user name
and password. And set up an IIS web site to Integrated Windows
Authentication. Can you still authenticate through the prompt dialog box? ... more >>

How to upgrade IE6 from 56 cipher strength to 128 bit encryption.
I upgraded my IE from 5 to 6.0 SP1 but cipher strength is still 56 bit.
Instructions say: If you are running Windows 2000, installing Internet
Explorer 6.0 will not change the current level of encryption on your computer.

Sharepoint portal server 2003 is installed. Localy i can access it but
remotely i cant access and error code is 401 and 402. If i select Basic
Authentication with anonymous access, then it can be accessed remotely.
