Question on using IIS Lockdown 2.0 Toto

iis security:
HI,

I've inherited a W2K + SP4 box with IIS 5.0 and IIS Lockdown 2.0 tool
installed.

Now I need to make changes to IIS configuration (create new virtual
directories and the like).

Is the following procedure the correct one to handle this situation?
- Run IIS Lockdown wizard to "unlock" IIS on this box.
- Make the changes.
- Run the Wizard again to "lock" it again with the last config.

If not, please advise.

In any case, how can I make a backup of the current config before doing the
changes, so that I can go back to the situation previous to them ?

Thanks a lot in advance for any help

Creating new virtual directories isn't prevented or affected by the
IIS Lockdown Tool and you likely don't need to do anything about it.
