iis security : content advisor password

Help

Someone has managed to set a password on internet explorer
5.5 for the content advisor. No-one knows the password. Is
there any way of re setting this as it is stopping me
browse any sites without it. Operating system is windows
2000

You need the Internet Explorer newsgroups.

Start > Run, type; regedit

Locate the following key;

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Rating
s

Delete the value in the right pane, then close the registry editor.

Next, go to Start > Find, and type: "*.pol" (without the quotes)

Delete the file called "ratings.pol", then re-start your computer.
