How can I allow .HTC files to be used from another domain? When I link to
one on my server from another domain on my server I get an "Access is denied
to http://..." error. This is part of my dynamic navigation system.

I'm using Windows 2003.

HTC access seems to be over anonymous access, as you have discovered. From what I understand, you can allow Anonymous access
to just these files while your site remains NTLM or Basic access. Using IIS, navigate to the file, right click and pick properties to get the
Properties dialog. Select the "File Security" tab, and pick Edit button in the Authentication section. Allow anonymous access to these files.

what authentication you using ?

if local domain work ? do remote domain user has READ permission on the file
?

what's the usage for .htc file ?

Try filemon (sysinternals.com) to track related access denied errors.
