iis security : internet security patch

To whom it may concern:
I have been receiving emails from Microsoft Coorporation
Program Security Division regarding an internet security
patch. I have reasons tobelieve that this is a scam. Where
should I send the email so this can be studied?
Thank you,
Francisco Diaz

Microsoft is already aware of this and there is nothing they can do about
it. It's not their fault. It's due to the way Internet email was / is set
up. You can see their recommendations and mention of this at
www.microsoft.com/security

PS if your anti-virus didn't detect this as a virus and warn you as such,
then you may not be running anti-virus with the latest update for this week
and could be infected. www.grisoft.com is free anti-virus.

There are a number of viruses circulating claiming to be from Microsoft.
Microsoft never distributes patches by email unsolicited.

I suggest you check on any of the popular antivirus sites, as they have
write ups about common viruses circulating, and you can match what you have
against what the description is

Cheers
Ken
