Hi,
There is no method that I am aware of to get the password back. I highly
recommend that you do a backup with ActiveSync.

The only option I am aware of is to perform a hard reset and synchronize
from scratch. If you restore the password will be back.

Hi all

I have an QTEC 2020 that I synchronize up against a Small Business Server
2003 running Exchange 2003.

I have setup Active-Sync on the QTEC 2020 to "Save" password.

When I sync against the Exchange server it keeps asking for password. I can
then tab in the password and it synchronizes fine.

I don't know if it's a Domain GPO, IIS, Exchnage or Active Sync issue, so
please HELP.

Best Regards

Tex Tofte

Hi,
The save password problem sounds like a bug. Have you reported it to QTek?

Hi chris

Thanks for your answer. I think you have misunderstood me though.

I'm synchronizing up against the Exchange server via GPRS. I'm able to use
OWA without any problems.

Every time the QTEC connects to the Exchange Server via GPRS it ask for a
username and password. If I supply username and password for the account it
synchronizes fine. My problem is that under ActiveSync -> Tools ->
Options -> "Server TAB" -> "Options" you can supply logon credentials and
also tick off the "Save Password". Although I tick on the "Save Password"
the screen with username and password still pop up. I have test it with two
different QTEC devices and the result is the same with both.

Best Regards¨

Tex

Hi Chris

No it's not a bug. When I connect up against other Exchange Servers there is
no problems.
