iis security: Right now I have a database with groups and users and based upon that
data, I make a decision in my asp.net pages as to whether or not to
serve the user the web pages.

I am now moving to Windows 2003 Server and noticed the "Permissions"
addition on the right-click context menu. Will that keep me from

You have decided permissions in your application. Whatever permissions
Windows 2003 supports, you woudn't be using.

Can you tell us where you are seeing this "Permissions" option, so we can
explain what it does?

This is a new feature that allow you to configure NTFS Permissions in IIS
MMC, it's the same as you go to the physical directory and assign
permissions via Windows explorer.
