iis security: Hi,

I'm trying to create a web page or something like it that will have the
ability to let a user login and upload photo images in bulk. This will be
used when I travel to upload photos from my digital camera to my home
computer so I can reuse my memory card while on the road. First I tried
creating an FTP site linked to a virtual directory but could not get the
permission to allow me to upload to the folder. This is what I would
ideally like to do, i.e. go to a website, login, upload my pictures using IE
and have them go to a designated folder. I think I have the beginning of
this as I can create the virtual directory, access it with IE, I can see
files that I put into the actual directory [not the virtual] and so on but I
can't get the permission right to be able to add/delete files within the
directory through IE. Drag and drop from a folder on the desktop into IE
would be perfect as I will be using public PC with my camera plugged in via
a USB port.

Anyone suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob

Bob,

Create an FTP virtual directory which points to the relevant web
folder, assign the correct file permissions and configure
non-anonymous FTP access.

That should do it.
