iis security:
I've got a Windows Server 2003 setup w/ IIS 6, using SSL
for 3 sites. Exch 2003 OWA works great on SSL, Sharepoint
works great too, but a third site generates this
error. "This site contains both secure & nonsecure
items". I can get past it by clicking ok, but I'd like to
make it stop before one of the bigwigs gripes about it.
I've verified that all the subdirectories for the site
have SSL enabled w/ 128 bit encryption, but I have no clue
where to go next. I've spent a day searching the net for
clues, but this seems to be a question that doesn't get
alot of answers. Anybody able to offer some insight?

Thanks in advance,

Does this only occur when you access the default
homepage? If so, then check on the page itself for links
to non https sites. I have had this happen to me in the
past because there was a link to a weather image located
on another site that was not using https.

Regarding your question, the error actually occurs on a
sub-page. Some more background info... The website is
part of a time & expense entry application. When I go to
the homepage for it, it comes up fine in SSL. I can login
to the application, but the error message "this site
contains both secure and nonsecure items" when I pull up
the secondary page full of calendaring & timesheet info.
I've looked at all the subdirs of the site, and they've
all got SSL enabled. None of them are virtual directories
though.. they just look like folders. Any ideas?
