do I need an URL Scan for IIS 6.0 ??

iis security: hi folks

I have some IIS 4 and 5 and eatch IIS has an URL Scan installed. Do I need an URLScan also for IIS 6.0, especially to disable HTTP TRACE and extentions like .bat !!
