iis security : Multiple sites using SSL on 1 server

We only used to have one website using SSL until now.

We've setup the second site to use port 444 instead of the default 443,
which works, but I'm wondering if this is the way to do it?

My url will always show https://mydomain:444

Thanks,
Barry

Some more info:

It's a W2K3 server running IIS6 in IIS5 compatability mode, serving about 15
websites,
now 2 of them using SSL, one using port 443, one port 444.

(I've set SSL required to on and changed the 403.4 error to use
redirect.htm, which
is redirecting to the https channel and ofcourse turned require SSL for
redirect.htm off)

I could ofcourse bind more IP addresses to my NIC if no other solution
is available...

You can not use host-headers with SSL. To run multiple SSL secured sites on
a single box requires that each website has a unique IP Address + TCP Port
combination.

Cheers
