iis security : UPN suffix as default domain name... Is it permitted?

I understand that defaultdomain can not be supplied to Windows
authentication. Some of my users use different UPN suffix. Can they use this
upn suffix as domain name when they login from Windows 2000?

Is there any workaround to avoid user to explicitly type-in domain name in
Windows authentication from 2000? I do not want to show my domain name to
end users.

Thanks for any input.

UPN suffix should be fine, as long as the UPN suffix is from the user's
domain, or a trusted domain.

user: user@upn-suffix
password: password

Cheers
Ken
