iis security : Does the lack of SSL Certificate effect Reporting Services Extensi

Not sure if I should be posting this to the IIS Security as it may be more
closely related to a Reporting Services problem. Unfortunatly I do not see a
managed News group for reporting services.

Basically the problem is that I am getting an error when I try to run a
report on the server that uses a Custom DataExtension.

Microsoft.ReportingServices.Diagnostics.Utilities.DataExtensionNotFoundException:
An attempt has been made to use a data extension 'DATASET' that is not
registered for this report server.

We have triple checked both the RSReportServer.config and the
rssrvpolicy.config (even tried using the Config Files that Teo posted on the
internet.)

Because this is a Development Server We elected not to install SSL when we
installed the Reporting Services.

I am aware that Reporting services is using the security in many places. I
was wondering if the lack of a SSL Cert on our development platform may be
related the the problem.

Thanks!

Hello,
I am pretty sure SSL has nothing to do with this issue. I came across
another similar case in our internal knowledgebase but the solution is
slightly complicated and out of my area of expertise. I would recommend
that you post to the SQL newsgroup and they should be able to guide you
further.

Good luck,
