Hi all,
I am setting up an environment with IIS and I found a big problem (at least
for me...). As far as I know, all the Authentication that the IIS does is:
Anonymous, Basic Digest, Windows Integrated, or Client Certificate mapping.

SSL Request File - Access Denied

We have a Windows 2003 Web Edition server that up until recently has run fine
hosting many sites that use SSL certificates. Now when we try to create a
certificate request file in IIS6 we get an Access is Denied error on the last
step.

Integrated and users authenticate using a UPN that matches their email
address (eg; john.smith@partnercompany.com), all the relevant UPN suffixes

One of our IT guys reset a switch on our network yesterday and since then we
haven't been able to view one of the site on our intranet.
When we try to open the site, it brings up the integrated windows
authentication login box but then when you log in, it just displays:

Is it possible to lock down a developers access to server files? I know
using NTFS, I can lock down the IUSR_MACHINENAME account to not have access
to certain folders and files but even with that, I have found that a sloppy
developer was actually able to create a file in a folder up one from ... more >>

We have an internal IIS.6 server protected by one reverse proxy server and a
firewall from eternal users. External internet users use HTTPs hit the web
page URL will connect to the external interface of the reverse proxy server
