iis security : iis6 authentication and identity

Hi,

does anybody know a ressource where the iis6 authentication process is
displayed ?

i have a web application that runs with "Local Service" identity in the
default app. pool. when i switch to "Network Service" identity the
application did not work.
I want to understand why and where the problem is.
I think the "Local Service" identity has lower access rights than "Network
Service" so i wonder where the problem is. Maybe someone can help me ?

You need to define what "does not work" means - are you seeing any error
messages etc. If so, please post those details.

Also, is there anything in the Windows Event Log - if so, please post Event
ID, Source and Description.
