iis security: Hi, I have Windows 2K with IIS 5.0 and Frontpage Extentions. To get
Frontpage Extentions to work right you have to give read, read, and execute
permissions to your internet guest users. To make my question easy, I'll
show you how my Security is setup on a web folder and then can someone
explain how I should really have it setup. Thanks.

No, you don't. If you do, any slob with WebDav or FrontPage can freely edit
your site. It won't last long if you do that.

Your table is unreadable.

Here's a little advice. Leave the current site intact. Make a new folder
at the same level on your server. Copy the files into the new folder. Make
a new virtual web. Install the FrontPage extensions on the new web. Make
sure it works. Then swap IP addresses/ host headers to the new one. Delete
the old one.

Messing with the permissions in a FrontPage web is an "expert but still it
can get screwed up" activity that you should avoid if there is any other
way.
