iis security : Disable login prompt in IIS

If I use a web browser other than IE to connect to our intranet I get
prompted for a user name and password. I understand if I type in
"http://website" in IE I will not get prompted to log in and if I type in
"http://website.domain.com" I will get prompted. Unfortunately, if I use
Firefox I get prompted even if I type in "http://website". Is there a place

Its a property of IE to pass the login credentials to the server if that
option is set in IE and if the server is trusted or Intranet,
It is not an option in IIS to not prompt if the browser is IE. The server
just prompts,
