I have installed nntp service on a win2k server and create some newsgroups.
Now, I would like to rely news from usenet and microsoft news on my nntp
server. Is it possible ? How can I do that ?
Thanks

Hi,

You'll need a newsserver that allows you to "pull" and "push" feeds.
Microsoft's news server, msnews.microsoft.com, does not allow pulling, so
you will not be able to take posts directly from it

Hi,

I am not sure if Windows 2000 allows it without Exchange server, but Windows
Server 2003 does.

Yes - but the documentation on how to do so appears to have been removed
from Microsoft's website.

The script is "rfeed.vbs" in \Windows\System32\Inetsrv, so you can run
rfeed.vbs /? in that directory for help.
