iis smtp nntp : relay server through router

When the IIS server connects using a adsl router, I can receive e-mails but
it will not send, they stay in the queue folder. If I use outlook to send
directly using the same outgoing server through the router this works.

In event viewer it says that no DNS servers were available or all are down.

Is this using SMTP? Ensure you can resolve the target domain's MX
record from the server. This is usually a DNS config problem.
