How do I install Smtp on my server to create e-mail accounts ? It's
Windows 2000 server with IIS 5.
In concrete, do I have to contact the Registar first or no (because o
the DNS).

I have a Win2K domain controller, running IIS with SMTP.
This is connected through a router to the internet.
I need it to be able to send emails from asp pages.

We are sending emails using SMTP sending through our Exchange 2000 server
which has the relay turned off. If the email address is internal the email
is sent just fine but if the email address is external I get the following

We are running IIS/W2K with the nntp Service with some 5-10 newsgroups. =
We use Microsoft Outlook Express (6) as Newsreader. The messages should =
be retained forever by the server, creating a "knowledge base" for the =

Hello,
I configured STMP for sending out emails only in windows 2000 with sp2.
It works fine for a couple of months, then it stoped
to work. All mails sent out will be queued and do not get delivered.
Is there some way to do debug for testing the problem? or How to find
the problem and fix... more >>

I'm running IIS 6.0 on Windows Server 2003, and want to install SMTP.
I want to use SmtpMail in C# asp.net code.
SMTP does not show up in IIS Mgr, and I've read that SMTP is not
installed by default in Windows Server 2003.
