Hi,
We are receiving emails that contains Korean characters for ours Korean
office. We are using Windows 2000 server SP4 running the IIS SMTP (version

Can the NNTP Virtual Server in IIS 6.0 be set up to pull news feeds from
other servers? Are there any NNTP services that would allow this? How

I am using SMTP under IIS5 to relay mail to Exchange Server 5.5 System.
On IIS Relay end, I'm running Win2K Server + SP4. On Exchange 5.5 end, I am
running NT4 Server + SP6 and Exchange 5.5 with latest SP.

We use CDonts to send email from SQL 2k & IIS 6.0. All the email is "From:
server@myserver.com", it has a "Reply To: ourcustomer@thieremail.com" that
is the user we are sending on behalf of, so to speak.

I'm running Windows 2000 Professional. Below is a simple VBS that I wrote
to send e-mail. For some reason, after executing it, an .EML file is

ISP blocks port 25.
Client (where this Exchange Server will live) uses Doteasy.com for POP and

Hi,
I'm having a hard time trying send mail *to some domains only* using a
smartserver; in all (95%) other cases, the SMTP engine would send mail
directly, as intended. Has anyone found a hidden setting for this
scenario? or is it just impossible to do so with the vanilla SMTP
engine of IIS?

I'm not sure what I did but I can not longer see the SMTP under Internet
Service Manager. I see "web" and all my web sites, but no SMTP. SMTP still

exists. I found that by implementing the SMTP by myself I might be able to
do the maximum one can do to test for an email address... but since SMTP

I have tried all suggestions I can find on the default server not listed in
IIS mgr.
1. unistalled/reinstalled file & print sharing
2. uninstalled/reinstalled IIS
3. Regsvr32 inetmgr.dll and smtpsnap.dll

I just installed the STMP/POP3 services on my Win2k3 machine, but the STMP server does not show up in the IIS manager. The POP3 service works fine, and I can recieve mail via STMP, but cannot send mail at all. How can I get STMP to show up so I can configure it? (And make it so I can send mail.)

I've been having intermittent problems with IIS 5.0 SMTP. Clients are
complaining that hey receive same emails multiple times, the amount of emails
is determined by IIS’s Delivery tab for outbound retry intervals. My spam
