iis smtp nntp: Hi,

We are receiving emails that contains Korean characters for ours Korean
office. We are using Windows 2000 server SP4 running the IIS SMTP (version
5.0.2195.6713) services.

Every time a user receive a HTML Korean emails, the subject ONLY and the
sender got corrupted (Korean character become unreadable).

We install the Korean languages and keyboard but it didn't help.

Any idea how we could fix this problem?

Thank you!

Hi,

You should enable 'allow 8bit characters' in header. By default, the header
values, are ISO encoded so if you want to allow 8-bit characters, CDO will
append an encoding sign to the from/to and the subject.

I don't know what format encoding you are using, I guess utf-8?
