Hi,
For the WWW websites, just create folders wherever you want to, and update
the Home Directory location for each website.
For the SMTP service, you can edit the metabase (after creating the
necessary folders elsewhere) so that the SMTP virtual server uses the new
folders:
cscript.exe c:\inetpub\adminscripts\adsutil.vbs set smtpsvc/1/dropdirectory
x:\mailroot\drop
cscript.exe c:\inetpub\adminscripts\adsutil.vbs set
smtpsvc/1/badmaildirectory x:\mailroot\badmail
cscript.exe c:\inetpub\adminscripts\adsutil.vbs set
smtpsvc/1/pickupdirectory x:\mailroot\pickup
cscript.exe c:\inetpub\adminscripts\adsutil.vbs set smtpsvc/1/queuedirectory
x:\mailroot\queue
Change x:\mailroot to be the path you want the directories to be now.
If you want to set these things as part of IIS installation you need to do
an unattended install (either as part of the OS install via
unattend.txt -or- as part of GUIRunOnce via sysocmgr.exe etc. See
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=309506 for more information on getting
started, and the Unattended setup help located (if I recall correctly) in
the \ValueAdd folder of your OS setup CD.
Cheers
