Smtp Unable to bind - message wont send -- iis smtp nntp

Hi All

I have asp and asp.net installed on my server. The ASP sends mail fine
but the asp.net gives me the error below. I can telnet with no problems to
the server also.

I been searching everywhere for help on this issue

im getting this error

Message delivery to the remote domain 'domainname' failed for the following
reason: Unable to bind to the destination server in DNS.

I searched google and yahoo and alot of resources and nothing i found fixed
the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

This does not look like an SMTP server issue - this looks like an ASP.NET
issue first and foremost. What is the code you are using? Depending on the
code, we may need to change some settings in SMTP server, or we may need to
change your code.
