Hello,

The remote server most likely classify your server as a spam-server, and
drops the connection.

Your SMTP logfiles could give you more information.

It could however also be networking problems on the remote side.

Hi All,

We are using the IIS SMTP Server on a Windows 2003 box to send out emails
from our ASP application. For some email domains, I noticed the following
errors in the event log. Can anybody give me an idea on how these errors
happen and how to resolve them. Please note that these happen only for some
domain and most of the others works fine.

1) Message delivery to the host 'XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX' failed while delivering to
the remote domain 'XXXXXXX.com' for the following reason: The connection was
dropped by the remote host.

2) Message delivery to the host 'XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX' failed while delivering to
the remote domain 'XXXX.com' for the following reason: The remote server did
not respond to a connection attempt.
