telnet SMTP problems.. -- iis smtp nntp

Hi all,

I'm doing some testing with SMTP on Windows2000 Server SP4 and the first
problem I got was that I couldn't even telnet to port 25 on localhost.

Connecting To localhost...Could not open a connection to host on port 25 :
Connect failed.

SMTP is installed and service is up and running. The funny thing is that I
could Telnet into the server from other PCs or servers. Just not on itself.
Any suggestions are welcomed.

Nevermind, I found the problem. The NAI 8.0 VirusScan blocked port 25 on
the server to prevent worm mast mailing. After I took out the block, it
works.
