I am still having problems sending emails to aol. I have Windows XP
Professional, IIS obviously, and use my own smpt server for outgoing email.
I am not using an smpt server with my dsl service. Most of my email works

I want to set up logging on my new virtual SMTP server so i can check the
reliablity of the server. This is so when my boss tells me there is a
problem because someone hasn't received the email he sent them i can pinpoint
the problem and check the logs of the SMTP server.

When I try to download from the newgroups, MS Office will download code. I
will not get a complete file as in an MP3 or notepad message. I have used

How do I set up IIS6 SMTP to be a secondary serve? I have two Win2K3 servers
and one runs IMail for our email. I would like to set up IIS's SMTP server

I found MetaUtil.dll under Windows/System32 has APIs I need. I have some
questions about this file.
This DLL has APIs to access IIS metadata, which I cannot find any other APIs
to acccess it.

All incoming mail is being directed to the 'Drop' folder and not =
delivered to the recipient, I can send out email ok but when I reply or =
send, it's only getting as far as the 'Drop' folder.
Does anyone know why this might happen and what I can do to overcome it?

CDONTS script that would send a message to a friend. It worked perfect

I'm writing this on behalf of a colleague overseas.
On a daily basis (up to a few times a day) his Exchange 2000 server for the
last 2 years, the SMTP service Stops and sets the Startup type to 'Disable'.

i have found that many mails are stuck in Inetpub\mailroot\queue.
Most of the mails (90%) are from postmaster@xxx.com (xxx.com is my domain).
The contects are below:

I cannot send email to one email address only it returns immediately with
..dat file
in which:

Everywhere else it does send from my address.

I am trying to change the default path use by SMTP from C:\inetpub\mailroot
to E:\inetpub\mailroot. This includes, Badmail, Queue, SortTemp, Mailbox,

I set up smtp for my outbound email and I don't have much mail that goes
out, it's only me sending mail. Most of my emails go through, but it seems
