I didn't have logging switched on but I've just enabled it on both the =
POP3 and SMTP Services, I sent a test email from the pop3 account to my =
hotmail account, and then replied to that email, which usually would =
arrive in the pop3 email box but thats not happenign at the moment. I =
checked the log files and all it is showing is the following:

This means little if nothing to me and I'm not sure it demonstrtes where =
the problem is, but if it does mean anything to you, I would be grateful =
for a little interpretation.

All incoming mail is being directed to the 'Drop' folder and not =
delivered to the recipient, I can send out email ok but when I reply or =
send, it's only getting as far as the 'Drop' folder.

Does anyone know why this might happen and what I can do to overcome it?

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Did you find a solution to this problem. Emails inbound are dopped in the
SMTP drop folder but are never routed to the POP mailbox. We have this
problem also. You prompt reply is greatly appreciated.

Well, since I'm not looking for a solution, I guess the answer is no.
I did ask two questions, though the reply didn't answer my questions
(not the poste'sr fault, just the information wasn't there...)

I suspect there is a POP3 configuration problem. I did see something
like this a few years ago when the IIS POP3 was first released. I
recall it had to do with the drop folder location being changed but
POP didn't realize the change had taken place (and continued to look
in the old location.) But that was long ago, and my memory isn't that
