I have 98se on c: and xpsp2 on e: making my box a dual boot.

My xpsp2 partition is not sending news/mail. It is receiving
everything and it is browsing well.

I had zonealarm 4.5 free, but I have disabled that.

I had nav 2005, but that faced some problem one month ago, and
now that is permanently disabled.

I have not switched on windows firewall, nor system update or
anything else.

Why mails/news are not going? How to rectify.

Tried with several reader/ servers. Thunderbird, oe, Opera,
Hamster. Got the same behaviour everywhere.

This isn't related to the SMTP or NNTP servers which this group is
targeted at. It is likely a firewall issue, possibly a configuration
issue, but not something we can find a fix for. Try your ISP and the
support forums for the prodcts you use.
