iis smtp nntp : Mail does not get relayed to individual domains

Winows 2000, SP4, IIS5.0, Norton AVCE 7.6, Brightmail 5.5 AntiSpam.
Messages build up in queue directory, delivery becomes slow and eventually
delivery to one of my domains stops altogehter. I have 45 Domains configured
under the Virtual Server. All Domains are configured to forward mail to
Smart Host by [IP address]. NAVCE 7.6 has exclusions for Inetpub\mailroot
and all sub-directories. Question: Why does mail build up in queue and nver
expire and why does delivery to ONE domain seem to fail after a period of
time? So far the only way I know to fix this is to recycle SMTP several
times until queued mail is delivered. After a couple of weeks the same thing
happens all over again. Any Suggestions? Microsoft's classic response is to
uninstall 3rd party apps. Well, If I uninstall 3rd party apps I have no use
for the MS SMTP relay!!

Neil,

Looks like a DNS problem with the domain that keeps getting queued. Go
to http://aboutmydns.com and run the quick test against that domain
