iis smtp nntp : Strange SMTP Virtual Server Domain

I've installed Win2k3 SP1 and IIS6. When I look at the Default SMTP Virtual
Server Domains list, I see a number of domains. 1 is the
myserver.mydomain.local. Another is a domain with a long hex string with
some hyphens. The format is similar to the following:

12345678-9abc-def0-1234-56789abcdef0._msdcs.mydomain.local Local
(Normal)

Anyone know what created this domain, why, and whether or not it is safe to
delete? I've not seen it in other IIS6 installations.

Thanks.

Kevin

IIRC, those SMTP domains are related to Active Directory domains. Is this
machine a DC?

Thanks for your reply. Yes, this is a DC. I gathered that it had something
to do with its function as a DC because of the MSDCS portion. What does the
DC role need with an SMTP email domain? What would be the affect of
deleting it?
