Trouble sending external emails on Win2k3

Hi.
I have been trying for a couple of days now and cannot seem to get my
server to send external emails (Internal emails send and receive fine).
All the external emails just sit in the Queue and eventually get
binned in the badmail folder. I have looked in the logs and can see

My Windows 2003 server became faulty because of hardware problems. It serves
multiple purposes, but the most critical ones are SMTP and POP3. I'm not
running Exchange, just built-in "SMTP virtual server".
As a temp solution I'd like to configure another machine as my mail server.

Hi all,
On a Win 2003 R2 Server I try to send a mail via IIS 6\SMTP and do not
find a solution for my problem: Logon works, but when I try to send a
message I get a "452 4.3.1 Out of memory" Error.
Here is the telnet dump:

hi all,
due to increased greylisting on remote MTAs i am seeing more and more
of my outbound SMTP messages ending up in the "badmail" directory.
it seems that if the remote MTA replies with "452 Too many recipients
received this hour,", IIS will either never retry at all, or will retry

Hello,
I have a dedicated Windows 2003 box with ISA 2004. It is pretty well
protected from external and internal threats in my oponion.
I have the security set to use SMTP Authentication for both Outbound and
Inbound connections.

I'm trying to send CDO messages from IIS5 (.asp page) to an Exchange 2003 sp1
server. I can send mail via telnet and via Outlook Express from the IIS
server to the Exchange server without problem. My SMTP log shows the

Mail message stay stuck in queue

I use the virtual smtp server on a windows xp machine. While testing the
sending of email (using vb.net code in Vs2005) I noticed that the email
messages get sent to the queue but they are stuck there and do not go out.
Any idea why this would be so and how to fix it?
