Problem creating NNTP Virtual Server

I have set up a Windows Server 2003 test server and am setting up Exchange
Server 2003 on it. But I can't create the NNTP Virtual Server in IIS from
the MMC. I get an instant "Overlapped I/O operation is in progress"

I'm getting this error generated by the local SMTP service on Win 2003. (We
use the local service to send emails, by connecting to our outbound mail
gateways using a smarthost entry.)

Hi there,
I'm using Win XP Pro SP2 and IIS 5.1
After I installed CDONTS.DLL on my machine
I configure SMTP to relay to an external IP address
(Another server) but when I'm sending an email
via MS Outlook the Email stay in IIS Queue Dir
and not move forward to the IP Relay.

1) We get an aboundance of return e-mails to POSTMASTER and Mailer-daemon

How do I resubmit mail sitting in this folder? I've tried restarting the SMTP
service and moving the files to the pickup folder. Is their some way to force

My mailserver has been down over the holidays so my relay server (win 2000
smtp) folder has many messages in the "bad mail" directory in the mailroot.
I am wondering how i could process thease emails now my mail server it up
and running again?
