Hi there,
I am trying to Configure Outlook express to synchronize with Microsoft
Newsgroup. but am not able to configure.
I have follwed the procedure below can any body there tell me what went wrong?
1. Opened Outlook
2. Selected Accounts under Tool Menu.
3. Clicked News under Add Button Menu.
4. entered my name in Display name as "Kiran Jain"
5. email address as kiranjj@hotmail.com
6. NNTP Server as msnews.microsoft.com
7. with "my news server requires me to log on" field unchecked.
Now when i try to click on news it says the server could not be found.
additional info :
I am using internet via Squid Proxy (linux based)
i also tried entering my Squid proxy server address in the NNTP Server name
and #msnews.microsoft.com as username with a blank password.

Then you need to check your proxy server to see if allow such proxy request
and what's the correct port, etc.

I have no ideas on squid configuration, you need to refer to the product
doc.
