Server A: Windows 2003 IIS 6.0, New domain created under Virtual
SMTP-bork.com. Smarthost configured to point to internal exchange server via
IP (tried DNS also).

Server B: Windows 2003 Exchange 2003. Relaying tab does not have Server A,
but I did try placing it in there..no luck.

Can Telnet to Exchange server and send mail no problem from Server A. Can
telent to Server A port 25 and send mail okay..but just sits in the queue.
All mail sits in Server A queue and never makes it to the the exchange server
B.

On Exchange server under Virtual SMTP Current Sessions..there are 3 sessions
reflecting the connection to ServerA...but they timeout.

Spent all day on this...need help Please any suggestions...I have tried
different authentication methods also.

It appears that relaying is not available, therefore you can forward to that
server. You have to have relaying available on the Exchange for you to use
it as a smart host.

Another option is to use the web server as a smart host. Use 127.0.0.1
instead. Though, it won't go through the Exchange server.
