hi,
i have configured our IIS server to use an intenal exchange server as smart
host and also added the internal IP of IIS server in the "allowed for relay"
list of exchange server. the mails are going through fine.
i cleared all checks on that dialog box.

We would like to setup the local IIS server to forward all incoming
mail to another SMTP server. I can do this on a per domain basis, or

Hi All: I colo a 2003 Web Edition webserver for a client which has a static
IP and single domain on it. They send mail from the website using CDOSYS and
the SMTP Service. THere's a valid PTR record for the webserver's IP. The
domain has an MX record which has nothing to do with this server.

I use Imail server and when i try to send emails to hotmail accounts im
getting an error. I can send email to other isp's email servers and Gmail
accounts without problem .
Hotmail error is

hi there, we have a WIN Server 2003 that acts as a SMTP gateway. it does
have some anti spam software on there but i dont think this is causing the
issue. one of our clients cant send emails to our domain. even when they

Hi all
I know that there are a few people with this problem and there is no
solution from Symantec. The problem is with the SMSSMTP 5 gateway
product from Symantec with IIS 6. What happens is that every ten

I am having issues using Windows 2000 server as a front end SMTP server. It

Hi,
I need to pin a Domain to a specific IP. It seems using the Hosts file
does not work when IIS SMTP is looking up an MX record to send mail.
To be able to send mail to a specific IP that is not in DNS I've had
to create a Remote Domain and specificy the smart host for that domain
